| What
is AWANA: |
|
| |
AWANA
is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
That means if we learn how to use and apply God' s Word in
our lives we will not be ashamed. The AWANA Program includes
Bible Memorization, games and Bible learning for children.
It is heartwarming to see little ones learning scripture.
They will always have God's Word in their hearts and God can
use those verses of scripture to help them in a difficult
situation. Does this excite you? Well, there is a place for
you? We need adults to be listeners. What is a listener? A
person who is willing to listen to young people recite their
Bible verses and sign off in their books.
What a joy to see them learn and grow. If you are interested
in this ministry, please contact Amy Sellers at 508-540-6634.

AWANA REGISTRATION TIME
Parents may sign up your children for the AWANA program at
this time. Please see Amy Sellers to register. There is a
$35 fee for this program; $5 is due at Registration. The remainder
may be paid at one time or by payment schedule. Our church
desires that no child be deprived of participation in club
due to finances. Should expenses be too high for your family,
please. contact the Commander, Paul Sellers or Pastor John.
This registration fee covers the cost of the uniform, the
first handbook and awards. These fees do not cover the total
cost of the AWANA program. We are simply trusting God to provide
the means for this important evangelistic and discipleship
program.
The AWANA Program will be held on Sunday evening from
4:45 to 6:15, starting in September.
