Continued - The Mission to Michigan
by John Mayou

On this trip there was a lot of different people with different abilities and I think God worked through us to use those gifts. We had the Services with their clown ministry, the Signs with their great talent for music, a lot of energetic kids to do work, and Napoleon who made sure we were feed good every day then when he had a chance he would go and paint too. I was told after the work was done that the job would have taken professionals two weeks our group did it in 5 days.

I think it was a lot of help that each day a bunch of people got up with Mr. Robbins at 5 and got to the rink at 6.

Some days more then half of our painting team would go to nursing homes and sing or to the park to bring people into the rink each night but in one form of another Everybody worked till about 4 or 5 then went back changed clothes and came back to run the rink for the rest of the night and we ended up going to bed between 10 and 12 o'clock.

I think God worked in our whole team to keep us united and accomplish our work. I think god worked through us making this building look nice and presentable to the community and when we presented the gospel every night.

Everybody praying and the strength God gave us helped us get through the week and accomplish our tasks and even though the it feels good to be done the feeling that our work will help minister to god and even save some of the youth of Michigan is so much better.
